Dear All,

 As the curtain falls once again on a memorable 7’s tournament we can safely say that as a band of part timers in the wrong competition, AND with ‘men down’ all over the show, I thought we represented ourselves rather well, so hats off to you all.

This ad was as you know the last of the tournaments in the current location, which is again a shame but not the end of things, the tournament will re-emerge somewhere else for the 2008 season and I am confident that as a club and more importantly a squad we’ll re-group once again.

Just want to once again thank Zarina who despite the hilarity and incompetence of many of you has managed to laugh herself silly and again coordinate on our behalves with the Exiles, so many thanks Zar from us all. Secondly, Ed cheers for stepping in to  the breech and helping out AND putting his knee operation in jeopardy to take to the field when we really were up against it. So well done you.  Andy Stanley – a massive thanks to you for arranging our shirts this year – they really were first class and one’s that will be remembered – thank you. Friends, wives chicks and children – well done to you all too for joining us and for your support.

We decided to get some photo’s taken by someone with a slightly better ‘eye’ then any of ourselves (ED!) and these images will be available soon (Ed – could you let us know what the story is here?) But I have a lovely one of everyone to finish up the year – see attached, Jackson is even smiling!

 I said at the end of the tournament that this would be my last from a coordinating perspective, although with the aid of Zar and Ed, it proved most fun and I’ve decided to take on the mantel next year if this would be required.

 In the meantime well done and all the best for 2008
